Description

CENTRED ON TRENCH D67 & SIMILAR TO SITE 1: COMPRISING SUBSOIL FEATURES ON HIGHER GROUND WITH A DENSE LAYER OF BURNT FLINT (C112) DIPPING INTO AN ADJACENT HOLLOW. LAYER ALSO CONTAINED A SMALL NUMBER OF SHERDS, STRUCK FLINTS & FIRED CLAY FRAGMENTS PROBABLY OF BRONZE AGE DATE (B1).
