Description

Trial trenching undertaken in 1991 by Thames Valleys Archaeological Services revealed a number of ephemeral features buried under 2m of colluvium. The features were located at the base of a remnant bluff and comprised charcoal patches, 2 stake holes, prehistoric pottery and burnt or struck flints. Roman finds were recovered from the covering colluvium (B1).
