LIMEKILN WAS AT NGR - IT IS SHOWN ON OS 1925 1:2500 MAP BUT NOT DESCRIBED AS SUCH. SITE NOW A GARDEN. THE TALL QUARRY FACE SHOWN IN COLMER'S DRAWING IS PROBABLY EXAGGERATED - ITS OUTLINE IS STILL JUST VISIBLE (B2).
