FIELDWALKING TO TEST SURVEY METHODOLOGY ON A KNOWN MED SETTLEMENT TO DETERMINE LIKELY DENSITY OF MEDIEVAL SURFACE POTTERY SCATTERS. A 250 X 25M STRIP WALKED & A 2ND LARGER AREA. VERY LITTLE POTTERY RECOVERED BUT MUCH PREHISTORIC FLINTWORK. WALKED BY MARTIN TINGLE (SEE FINDS PLOT-OUTS ETC FILED) (B1).
