UPPER STONE OF ROTARY QUERN IN SANDSTONE, PROBABLY SARSEN FROM THE READING BEDS. DISHED TOP WITH TRACES OF IRON SPIGOT (?) & HANDLE HOLES WITH SMOOTHED WALLS. BASE FLAT WITH POCK-MARKED SURFACE. CONCRETION AROUND BASE OF HOLE: MAY BE NATURAL IRONSTONE. FOUND BY GARY POWIS UNDER TREE ROOTS WHEN JOGGING (BI1)
