Dimensions - Length 0130 m
Plan Form - LINEAR
DITCH AVERAGES 8.5M ACROSS, 0.7M DEEP WITH ERODED BANK ON N SIDE. RUNS DIRECTLY UP SLOPE, FROM BOTTOM TO HALFWAY UP, BENDING TO S AT E END. TERMINATES WHERE SLOPE IS VERY STEEP. BOTTOM END CUT BY TRACK. PERHAPS PART OF A BANK & DITCH ONCE EXTENDING ACROSS VALLEY & A TRIBAL BOUNDARY? (B1).

Deep ditch northern slopes of Commbe Hill. Deep ditch running 70 m west to east from north western foot of Coombe Hill, and turning c. 60 degree to south east and running for a further 50 metres up the hillside. May be sunken routeway, although seems too deep and does not coincide with mapped routeways either on modern or 2nd edition OS map. Possibly turns east as Mon ID 687? Although quite different in character (B2 and B3).
