Description

FIELDWALKING FINDS 40 SAXON SHERDS INCLUDING GRASS-TEMPERED WARES, SILICA WARES, 1 POSSIBLE IPSWICH SHERD; ALSO MISC RIMS, BASES ETC (SEE CATALOGUE & MAP FILED) (B2&4). Saxon sherds widely spread. There may be some included in 'handmade' but difficult to distinguish. Possible mid-Saxon flavour (B3)
