Description

FIELDWALKING FINDS 93 SHERDS OF FLINT-GRITTED & HANDMADE WARES & ALSO 17 ROMAN SHERDS INCLUDING SHELLY, MORTARS, ETC (SEE CATALOGUE & MAP FILED) (B2+4).
Reassessment of flint-gritted pottery sherds may point to Late Bronze Age occupation. Some of the handmade sherds could be prehistoric or Saxon (B3).
