Description

TRENCHES DUG BEFORE BUILDING OF ELDERLY MENTALLY INFIRM SITE (A) & INDUSTRIAL TRAINING UNIT SITE (B) REVEALED NO RB OR SAXON DEPOSITS DESPITE PROXIMITY OF KNOWN RB/SAXON FINDS. FEW FEATURES/FINDS (SEE 01-02 & REPORT FILED (B1-2)).
FURTHER EVALUATION TO NORTH FINDS NEOLITHIC PIT ETC (SEE 03)(B3).
EVALUATION BY BUFAU IN 1996 FAILED TO REVEAL ANY FURTHER EVIDENCE OF NEOLITHIC ACTIVITY IN TRENCHES 10, 15 AND 16 DESPITE FEATURES FOUND IN 1992 EVALUATION (B4).
