THE VERDONS HAD A CAPITAL MESSUAGE HERE C.1310 (B1).
1753 MAP SHOWS 'COAT WICKS' ADJOINING HALL PLACE, CENTRED AT NGR. SURVEY, 10 MARCH 1563, OF ROYAL HOLDINGS NAMES PROPERTY HERE AS 'COURT WICK'. THIS, & PROXIMITY OF 'MANOR FARM' SUGGEST MANOR HOUSE LAY IN VICINITY (B2).
