Description

MEDIEVAL POTTERY FOUND ON BUILDING SITE. A POSSIBLE KILN NOTED IN SOUTH SECTION. DEVELOPMENT IN OLD FARMYARD EXPOSED SECTION CONTAINING TOPSOIL DUMP (IN FORMER SANDPITS?) & MANY MEDIEVAL SHERDS. IN THE EAST END OF THE SECTION THERE WAS AN AREA OF BURNT CLAY & SOIL PROBABLY MEDIEVAL POTTERY KILN REMAINS (TYPESCRIPT REPORT & CONTEXT LIST FILED)(B1).
