BUTT-END OF A GROUND & POLISHED AXE WITH ROUNDED SECTION. HAS A CLEAN REGULAR BREAK & IS SLIGHTLY CHIPPED AT BUTT-END. SIDES ARE FACETED TOWARDS BREAK. POLISHED SURFACES ARE PATINATED PALE MILKY GREY OVER AN OPAQUE GREY-BROWN FLINT (FURTHER DISCUSSION & ILLUS)(B1-2).
