Description

DURING METAL DETECTING IN FIELD TOM CLARK FINDS A STRUCTURE, SUBSEQUENTLY DESTROYED BY PLOUGHING: A CLAY LINED TROUGH C.620 MM ACROSS, 25MM DOWN, UP BY HEDGE BOUNDARY BETWEEN ALWYN LAWN & RECTORY. HE COLLECTS SAMPLES OF FIRED CLAY FROM IT. HE BELIEVES RB PITS ARE ALSO VISIBLE HERE (B3).
