JAR OF BAKED EARTH. DOUBTFUL IF IT IS ROMAN. DIAMETER OF BASE 1 3/4IN. JAR HAS AN ELONGATED HANDLE, RISING ABOVE THE LIP, WHICH IS SERRATED. THE CIRCULAR LINE OF THE BASE IS BROKEN BY CURVED INDENTS. SAID TO HAVE BEEN DUG UP AT SPEEN (BI1)
