BRONZE CELT, EXHIBITED BY MR J PARKER, HIGH WYCOMBE. FROM DEADMAN-DANE BOTTOM, WYCOMBE HEATH (B1). BRONZE PALSTAVE FOUND AT DEADMAN DEAN PRESENTED TO BCM BY HIGH WYCOMBE MUSEUM (B2). 'DEADMAN DEAN BOTTOM' SHOWN APPROX AT NGR (B3).

Deadman,Dane or Dean Bottom is the name applied to a deep ravine near Hazlemere (SU 895960) running at right angles to the high road from Wycombe to Amersham. (Note Deadmondean Road' SU 896960, along such a ravine on OA 6" 1961.) (B5).
