Description

'BURIAL GROUND (DISUSED)' AT NGR (B1).
THERE WAS A CONSIDERABLE QUAKER SECT WITH A CHAPEL IN HIGH STREET AND BURIAL GROUND ADJOINING. CHAPEL HAS NOW BEEN CONVERTED TO COMMERCIAL PURPOSES, THE BURYING PLACE STILL BEING PRESERVED INTACT BUT NOT NOW USED FOR SEPULTURE (B2).
