94 MEDIEVAL SHERDS RECOVERED. MOST CAME FROM TOPSOIL BUT 57 WERE FROM THE MED PITS & DITCHES. OF THESE 44 WERE IN SANDY FABRICS,18 IN SHELLY & 1 BRILL SHERD. NO.OF SANDY SHERDS (& THE BRILL SHERD) SUGGEST A C12/C13 DATE FOR PITS ETC (B1).
