Description

62% OF SHERDS QUARTZ TEMPERED, SUGGESTING A C5-C6 DATE. MOST WERE VERY SMALL.1 LUG HANDLE IN EARLY SAXON FABRIC & 1 FRAG IN RED QUARTZ-TEMPERED EARLY SAXON FABRIC. 6 DECORATED SHERDS, ALL FROM FILL OF SFB, & OF A BLACK, RED-QUARTZ BURNISHED FABRIC. (FURTHER DISCUSSION, CATALOGUE & ILLUS) (B1).
