Description

THE PRESBYTERIAN SOCIETY BUILT A MEETING-HOUSE IN 1721 90M EAST OF PRESENT CHAPEL. ABOUT 1854 IT WAS DEMOLISHED AND REPLACED BY THE PRESENT PLAIN BRICK BUILDING, REFRONTED 1901. THE SITE OF THE OLD MEETING-HOUSE HAS BEEN CLEARED, BUT IN THE W BOUNDARY WALL OF THE BURIAL GROUND BEHIND IT IS A PORTION OF BRICK WALLING, PERHAPS PART OF A VESTRY.
