DITCHED AND BANKED ENCLOSURES. SUNKEN E-W TRACKWAY OVER E.SIDE OF SUMMIT. LARGE PITS INCL. LARGE CHALK PITS 4-5FT DEEP. ONE RECTANGULAR BUILDING, STONE WALLS. DUG INTO BY FARMHAND NO MORTAR SEEN. SMALL DMV, FARM BUILDINGS. ON S.BROW OF HILL JUST IN WOOD. TRADITION OF TUNNEL FROM WORMSLEY HOUSE. PLOT.(B1). History and archaeology of area. Earthwork survey fig. 47 + 48 pp43-44 (B2).
