CONTENTS OF RUBBISH PIT (?) FOUND BY R M PALIN, IN DIGGING A CESSPOOL C.3.5M DEEP, 20M FROM GLEN ISLAND HOUSE. FINDS INCLUDE MIDDLE/LATE IRON AGE POTTERY (00:001); ANIMAL TEETH (00:002)(B1).
MATERIAL GIVEN TO BCM ONLY A SMALL PROPORTION OF THAT PRESENT. SIMILAR POTTERY OCCURS FURTHER N ALONG BANK OF ISLAND (B2).
