Description

Dimensions - Length 80mm, Width 30mm, Thickness 10mm.
WEAVING COMB, CONCAVO-CONVEX SECTION WITH 8 TEETH, ALL BROKEN JUST ABOVE COMB SHAFT. INCISED AND LINEAR DECORATION. HIGH DEGREE OF POLISH ON SHAFT PROBABL Y DUE TO WEAR AND ON BACK CUTTING MARKS VISIBLE WHERE BONE HAD BEEN SHAPED. ONLY 2ND IN BUCKS (CF.STANTONBURY). FOUND BY MR STUART DONALDSON [DRAWING] (B1-2).
