Description

POSSIBLE SITE OF SINGLE BURIAL MOUND (PAN ANUM HLAWE) MENTIONED IN AD 966 LINSLADE BOUNDARY CHARTER. MOUND HERE COVERS A SMALL RESERVOIR. THERE IS NO RECORD OF ARCHAEOLOGICAL FINDS MADE AT THE TIME OF ITS CONSTRUCTION (B1). FURTHER REFS & DISCUSSION OF CHARTER & 'PONE MIDLESTAN HLAWE' (B2). FIELDWALK AND GEOPHYS' 95 (B3)
