SITE OF COTTAGE, INHABITED IN 1827 AND DERELICT BY 1878. OUTLINE MARKED ON OS 6INCH MAP, 1ST. EDIT. SITE STILL MARKED ON SW CORNER BY STUMP OF A PEAR TREE. 1840 ESTATE MAP (B.A.S.683/43) SUGGESTS COTTAGE WAS SURROUNDED BY A WITCHERT WALL. SITE IS IN SMALL CLOSE NEAR LOWER GREEN (BIBL.1)
