Description
5 SILVER-WASHED COINS OF TACITUS. 2 OF PROBUS & 1 OSOAEMIAS; 22 ASSORTED ROMAN BRONZE COINS; 1 SEPTIMUS SEVERUS; 1 MARK ANTONY; 2 VALERIAN; 1 ANTONINUS; 1 CARACALLA & 1 ?CARACALLA, AND A ROMAN BUCKLE OR HINGED STRAP MOUNT. ALL FOUND BY MEMBERS OF S BUCKS METAL DETECTOR CLUB ON 28 AUG 1983 (B1, B4).
Cast copper-alloy bust (Roman although elements of Celtic style) found 26 Aug 1986 (B4).
