'CISSEDEBEORG' OR '4 TREE HILL', HIGHEST POINT ON BOUNDARY AT TOP OF LONG FINGER OF LAND PROJECTING RIGHT INTO ASHENDON. DISCUSSION OF BOUNDARIES OF WOTTON UNDERWOOD: BEORG TAKEN IN SENSE 'BARROW', MOUND RATHER THAN MOUNTAIN. 4 TREES WOULD THEN SURROUND BARROW. PROB SITE HAS BEEN DUG AWAY (B1).
