SUGGESTED SITE OF THE 'HALGAN OEC' (HOLY OAK) MENTIONED IN CHETWODE-HILLESDEN CHARTER OF 949, DETERMINED BY A SMALL RECTANGULAR PROTRUSION OF BUCKS INTO OXON WHERE THE BOUNDARY DITCH & HEDGE TAKE 4 RIGHT-ANGLED BENDS (FURTHER DISCUSSION)(B1).
