Sherds of RB course ware were discovered in the garden of Piggotts, Church End, Bledlow. SP 782023. 27 SHERDS OF HAND-MADE STORAGE JAR WITH TRELLIS DECORATION BURNISHED ON. COARSE, GROGGED FABRIC, SMOOTHED EXTERNALLY. 1 PIECE IS 20CM ACROSS, & RADIUS OF POT AT LEAST 30CM. DATE ?C2AD. RIMS & SHERDS OF AT LEAST 8 OTHER C2 POTS. FOUND IN BACK GARDEN OF PIGGOTTS AT NGR, IN LATE 1960'S BY MRS J WOODHOUSE (B5).
