STONE AXE APPARENTLY MADE FROM A GREENISH GREY FINE-GRAINED DIORITE (?). FOUND IN GAWCOTT VILLAGE, IT FORMED 1 OF THE STONES OF A PAVEMENT BEFORE A FRONT DOOR OF A COTTAGE. 19TH CENTURY DRAWING IN FILE (B1-2).
