Description

1695 and 1758 maps mark a windmill (open-trestle post mill symbol) approx at NGR (B1-2).
1847 tithe map shows field centred at SP814250 as 'Mill Meadow' (B3).
Mill Meadow is a pronounced hill on 130m contour, the highest point in area. No sign of a mill mound in ploughed field but a suitable site at NGR (B4)
