Description

BRILL TITHE MAP (1839) NAMES FIELD CENTRED AT SP642154 'MILL HILL' (B1).
MUSWELL HILL IS AN IDEAL MILL SITE, BEING, IF ANYTHING, SLIGHTLY HIGHER THAN BRILL VILLAGE ITSELF. HIGHEST POINT IS BY THE TRIG STATION, AND ALTHOUGH THERE ARE NO VISIBLE REMAINS OF A TUMP, A FLATTISH AREA HERE WOULD BE A SUITABLE MILL SITE (B2).
