Description

COPPER-ALLOY 'COLCHESTER' TYPE BOW BROOCH MADE FROM 1 PIECE OF METAL, SPRING BEING CLIPPED BY LOOP AT HEAD. 2 LINES OF PUNCH DECORATION AT RIGHT ANGLES, A PAIR ON EACH SIDE OF CATCH PLATE; ALSO SLIGHT GROOVES CUT ON PROTECTIVE HEAD OF BROOCH. FOUND ON UPPER SLOPES OF HILL BY MR R SEARS, AYLESBURY (B1).
