Description

Dimensions - Width 2m, Depth 3m.
At NGR, N edge of 'the Rough Park' wood, E of Mop End. Dene hole or chalk well, first observed March 1983 by Mr A D Trevor-Roper (CEGB), investigated by Mr B Tilbury, April 1983. Circular unrevetted hole, approx 1.5m-2m wide and more than 3m deep, partly filled with debris 1983, now infilled (B1-2).
