Description

Dimensions - Height 5m.
OS maps mark 'Icehouse' at NGR (B1).
The icehouse is apparently intact under its mound but has been sealed by its owner for safety reasons. Access was not possible at time of visit since a large tree had recently fallen across the site, but from the owner's description, the icehouse is of usual design of c.5m height and domed. Entrance is via a passage. Built of brick, it served Stoke Court nearby. Now in garden of 'Little Mount', c.100m NE of Stoke Court (B2).
