Description

Plan Form - Linear.
Roads called 'Kingstrete' & 'Buggilderode' mentioned in a document of 1226; this uses Lamport (CASS 04025) Stowe Mill & 'Bridge of Boicote' to illustrate their course (B1).
These 'Royal roads' probably followed the course of Roman roads (CASS 02980 & 02979). NGR to junction of these roads (JPP).
