Description

TIP OF AXE. SURFACE VERY BADLY CORRODED. NO OTHER FINDS MADE IN FIELD WHICH WAS SEARCHED WITH A METAL DETECTOR. FOUND BY MR. DAVID TAYLOR IN FIELD WHERE GOLD COIN HOARD WAS FOUND IN 1849 (HOARD FOUND C.10 0M AWAY, SEE CASS 00006). PROXIMITY OF FIND TO NARBURY IA CAMP ALSO SIGNIFICANT? DRAWING FILED (B1).
