'BRICK-KILN COTTAGE' AT NGR (BI1). SITE OF COTTAGE MARKED BY A LOW RECTANGULAR BRICK BANK COVERED BY VEGETATION. C.50M S. IS A LARGE RUBBISH-FILLED PIT AND REMAINS OF BRICK-LINED WELL. NO RECORDS OF A BRICK KILN BUT LIKELY TO HAVE BEEN A SMALL WORKS PERHAPS FOR CHEQUERS ESTATE. PURPLISH BRICKS BY PIT(BI2)
