Description

Waterwheel, used to drive swede & chaff cutters, generator & water pump (B3).
Located at NGR (B4).
In a barn. Mill race runs to rear of barn, turns E under brick wheelhouse & rejoins main stream below sluice gate (B1).
Machinery, except wheel, removed to the Science Museum on 9th September 1955. Dated to c.1820 (B3).
Buildings report held at NMR (B7).
