Description

Dimensions - Length 15m.
Site SCH 82. Ditch found during car park construction. Excavation carried out after human burial found. In ditch fill were a few small fragments of animal bone & teeth, also 2 small Iron Age sherds. Ditch excavated to length of c15m (B1).
Site archive notes, correspondence, photos etc (B2).

SP82971466. A crouched burial was found in the upper part of a ditch cut through limestone, in which there were two sherds of possible Iron Age date (B3).
