Description

FULLING MILL (& A FORD) ON THE OUSE, REACHED BY AN ANCIENT ROADWAY THAT PASSED CLOSE TO CHELMSCOTE HOUSE. THE MILL WAS PULLED DOWN LONG AGO, BUT THERE ARE FIELDS IN THE VICINITY KNOWN AS FULLING FIELDS (B1 (1862)).
