BANKS ARE 3-10M WIDE, NOT MORE THAN 50CM HIGH. RARELY ANY SIGN OF DITCHES APART FROM AROUND ENCLOSURES. MOST HAVE A LYNCHET LIKE FORM. ORIGINAL EXTENT OF FIELDS STILL UNCLEAR. SOME DOUBLE BANKS AND RECENT BOUNDARIES, SOME SURVIVING TILL C19TH. FURTHER DETAIL, PLOTS AND PROFILES (B1).
