Description

LARGE AMOUNT OF RB POTTERY FOUND IN LOWER FILLS OF DITCH, IN LYNCHET MATERIAL AND ON OLD LAND SURFACE BEHIND SE BANK. RB POTTERY HAS ALSO BEEN FOUND AROUND A SMALL SQUARE ENCLOSURE AT N. END OF BERKHAMSTED COMMON. OTHER RB SHERDS AND QUERN FRAGMENTS FOUND ALL OVER AREA (B1).
