SITE OF WATERMILL? 'MILL POND BUILDINGS' AT NGR ON OS1959 (B3).
FIELD NAMES 'MILL POND' 'MILLFIELD' 'MILL FURLONG' ON MAP 1814, VICINITY OF NGR (B1).
MILLPOND STILL IN EXISTENCE (1985) THOUGH SILTED. SITE OVERGROWN. SOME UNINTERPRETABLE BUILDING TRACES; BRICKWORK SEEN MAY BE OF LATER BUILDING THAN MILL (B4).

SP 851 239 Watermill established at SP 851239 by 1249 and another established somewhere within Stewkley parish by 1638. The date of abandonment of each mill is not recorded (B6).
