SITE OF WATERMILL? 'MILL POND BUILDINGS' AT NGR ON OS1959 (BI3). FIELD NAMES 'MILL POND' 'MILLFIELD' 'MILL FURLONG' ON MAP 1814, VICINITY OF NGR (BI1). MILLPOND STILL IN EXISTENCE (1985) THOUGH SILTED. SITE OVERGROWN. SOME UNINTERPRETABLE BUILDING TRACES; BRICKWORK SEEN MAY BE OF LATER BDG THAN MILL(BI4)
