IN 1086 THERE WERE 2 MILLS WORTH 28 PENCE BELONGING TO BIDDLESDEN MANOR. THEY ARE MENTIONED IN 1278-9 AS STANDING ONE WITHIN & ONE WITHOUT THE ABBEY ( B1).
NGR TO RIVERBANK, ADJACENT TO ABBEY SITE. (SEE ALSO CASS 00588 & 00589).
