Description

1724-1730: INHABITANTS OF ABBOTS ASTON HAVE NOT FENCED WINDMILL HILL MARL PITS IN HIGHWAY BETWEEN ABBOTS ASTON & CUBLINGTON (B1).
AT NGR ARE A SERIES OF WATER FILLED PITS EACH SIDE OF ROAD. SHOWN ON EARLY OS MAPS, THEY ARE PROBABLY THOSE IN B1. POSSIBLE MOUND (01:000) MAY ONLY BE QUARRYING (B2).
