OFFA (757-96) PLANNED THE FOUNDING OF THE MONASTERY OF ST ALBANS DURING A STAY ON HIS WINSLOW ESTATE C.792. HE LATER GAVE THE ESTATE TO THE MONASTERY AS A FOUNDATION GIFT. [MANORIAL HISTORY] (B3).
