A large irregular shaped extractive pit post medieval/modern date is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located on the north side of the railway, opposite the site of the former station (renamed Old Station Close), Winslow, and centred at SP 76933 28549. (7-8)
