A possible post-medieval road or bank and ditch boundary is visible on historic aerial photographs as earthworks and was mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located in Wing Park and centred at SP 88393 22000, a double ditch with earthwork banks extends W from the road through the former deer park about 325 metres on a WSW-ENE alignment. Whether a road into the deer park or a boundary of some form, this feature appears to be depicted on the 1814 Ordnance Surveyors Drawing, but not shown on the Ordnance Survey 1st Edition map of the early 1880s. On aerial photographs taken in 2015 and recent remote sensing data, the features have been levelled and are not visible (3-5).
