Description

Dimensions - Length 170mm, Height 58mm.
Bronze purse frame with inscription containing traces of green enamel. Inscribed on 1 side ‘St Maria St Larbar’ (Barbara) with a pattern of 3 lys. On other side ‘O Domine Crissta’ ('IHS' on boss). (Photos, drawings & correspondence giving location details, filed) (B1-2).
Probably late medieval: C15/C16 (B2).
