Description
RB POTTERY, MIXED WITH POT FROM ANOTHER WINSLOW SITE (CASS 05074). INCLUDES 2 BASE SHERDS (FROM SAME VESSEL?) PROBABLY AD C1-2; 1 ?RB RIM; 2 BASES; 1 GREYWARE SHERD. FOUND WHILE METAL DETECTING, SCATTERED IN AREA CENTRED AT NGR (B1).
IN DITCH NEWLY DUG NW-SE ACROSS FIELD, UNDATED POTTERY SEEN (B2).
(SP 772 271). A scatter of Romano-British pottery was found here by Mr. D Shelley (B3).
